Sales Management Skills Course   Duration: Two contact days plus two months of coaching and assessment

A Sales manager is responsible for driving sales, the life blood of the business and therefore needs a very specific skills set with which to succeed in the multiple roles that need to be fulfilled.

At the end of this course participants will have gained an understanding of the following:

  • Work with Marketing to ensure consistent lead generation.
  • Create and manage prospecting pipeline.
  • Create and manage lead qualification process.
  • Hire high-performing salespeople.
  • Train new salespeople to ensure success.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of all sales team members and deliver reviews.
  • Work with company management to generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
  • Track sales team metrics and report data to management / Exco on a regular basis.
  • Coach and develop salespeople and sales administration staff.
  • Implement performance plans according to company procedure.
  • Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with IT on sales technology initiatives.
  • Meet pre-determined revenue goals.
  • Ensure effective usage of CRM and other sales applications.
  • Train and ensure adherence to internal company procedures.
