Understanding Human Behaviour - of course it's all about me!

No public workshop scheduld at present.  Please contact us for an in-house option.

All behaviour is purpose driven. In other words a person chooses to behave in a certain way in order to achieve a certain result. What may seem like irrelevant, selfish, nice or downright stupid behaviour, may be completely appropriate for the person displaying the behaviour.

When we develop an understanding of human behaviour and consciously apply that knowledge on a daily basis, it directly influences the profitability of the business we work at. We feel better after our interactions with others - and don't we all want to feel good -  we start improving and even enjoying interactions that we dreaded before. Less time is wasted and we are free to be more productive at work.

In this workshop attendees will gain an understanding of:

  • The difference between Perception and Reality
  • Why and How people differ and behave the way they do
  • Behaviour is an ancient yet current language
  • How to communicate and listen in a manner appropriate to the behaviour
  • Listening actively with empathy and understanding
  • Flexibility in interactions with others, i.e. switching between the different roles that we play, and in changing environments and situations
  • Managing tolerance in interactions with superiors, subordinates and colleagues
  • Coping with stress
  • How to defuse conflict
  • Using others' strengths to supplement our own weaknesses
